Well, first time on a blog is a strange experience for me! This seems to be a good way to record reflections and thoughts during the project.
After a daunting start, I at least feel that I understand what the process is all about and how to get going. The highlight so far is definitely the discussions with the children. Their enthusiasm and imagination is great to see and they have been coming up with such a wide range of ideas about how we can learn outdoors. Even the quieter ones are putting forward ideas now and the ideas box has been added to enthusiastically.
The ideas stage is now going to spread to the other classes in the school - just thinking that we should include the year two children in that process because they will be next year's transition from Y2 to Y3.
Exciting that some Governors have offered to be part of the working party - will be good to work alongside them and use their expertise and insight too.
Questions for me: How to manage time constraints? How to keep communication effective and efficient across the school? How will it change the way I teach and develop learning?
